Set power in 40 steps
The LCD panel reads 1.0 to 5.0 and walks power across 40 steps, with SLAVE, buzzer and model-lamp modes on dedicated keys. A built-in 2.4G receiver groups heads 16 ways and pairs with the JY-K3 trigger for remote control from the camera.
Custom capacitors, fast cycles
Purpose-built capacitors give DX-400 a 0.6 s full-power recycle and keep every model between 1/900 and 1/2700 s flash duration — fast enough to freeze motion and hold high-volume shooting without waiting on the ready lamp.
Built for the Bowens ecosystem
Standard Bowens mount and umbrella slot — pair the flash range with the full Golden Eagle light-shaper range.
